Master Choa Kok Sui was the founder of modern Pranic Healing and Arctic Yoga. He was born in Cebu, Philippines, on August 15, 1952, and became a yogi while still in his early teens.

Chemical engineer, a successful businessman, and international philanthropist. He has written more than 20 books, some of which have been published in 37 languages and read in more than 80 countries. He taught over 20 different courses in Pranic Healing and Arctic Yoga around the world.

As a scientist, his more than 30 years of research and experimentation on the rational use of subtle energy made him one of the greatest Masters of Energy of our generation. Through the revolutionary system of Pranic Healing, he demystified the use of energy in a scientific, systematic and relevant pragmatics. He has left more than 100 Pranic Healing © centers established in more than 90 countries and philanthropic organizations in several countries.

He developed techniques to clean and energize the energy system that permeates the physical and energetic body (bioplasmic body), thus accelerating the natural recovery process of the individual. Master Choa has shown that energy is an important factor in treatment.

Currently, Prânic Healing is present in thousands of countries and its benefits have been studied by scientists and used in renowned hospitals such as Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Orange County, California, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Australia, among others.

At age 12, Master Choa already had an interest in spirituality and paranormality and spent many years in these studies, from a family with many brothers and sisters (he does not say how many), studied in Roman Catholic schools and graduated in Chemical Engineering.

He studied with great teachers and Yogues for many years, researching and experimenting along with his three great friends, Mang Dabon, Mang Mike and Mang Nenet (Mang in Filipino means "respectable lord") and in 1987 he published his first book and Fund the Institute for Inner Studies, Incorporated in the Philippines.

He founded the Institute for Inner Studies, Inc. with Headquarters in the Philippines, which is currently run by his children who maintain seriousness, purity, and fidelity in the dissemination of Pranic Healing.

According to Ruth Nakabayashi, since he met him in 1993, the Master has always had a posture of humility, patience, compassion, a lot of patience with organizations, instructors and students, but firmly when necessary. He had the same posture as Master as well as man.
